Visit

I was kind of wondering whether such an isolated place would be an ideal fit. After the visit I no longer had concerns about isolation. I was very impressed with the faculty, the academic rigor, and the environment. Sometimes places like this get negatively referred to as a Christian bubble but I now see it as more of a greenhouse. A place to get students started with all the ingredients they need.

I heard great things about Houghton and now I know why. It was way above what I was expecting.

I liked how you could tell the professors lived out their faith through their teaching.

You could tell everyone there has a unique story about why they love Houghton so much.

Before the tour, Houghton was one of the colleges on her list. Now it is her number one choice.

At first I had no idea what I was to expect, but the campus was wonderful! I loved it so much.
