Houghton University is proud to announce the graduation of its newest alumni this December. A total of 38 students successfully completed their academic journey, marking a significant milestone in their lives.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of our December graduates,” said Wayne D. Lewis, Jr., President of Houghton. “Their hard work, dedication and pursuit of excellence for the glory of God have prepared them for success. We are confident that they will make a positive impact in their families, their workplace and their communities.”

Among the graduates, five students distinguished themselves in multiple academic fields with a double major. Additionally, 12 students graduated with honors, further highlighting their exceptional achievements during their time at Houghton. These graduates hail from various countries, including Malawi, Mexico and the United States.

“It’s a great joy to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of our December 2023 graduates, and to offer my congratulations on their academic success,” said David Davies, provost.

As their time here comes to a close, these 38 graduates now join the thousands of Houghton alumni who have carried on a 140-year commitment to living and working as scholar-servants in the world.  I look forward to seeing how God will use them to transform their communities for the better, and they will always have a home here at Houghton.
