Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance

I came to Houghton University as a student in 2018 as I wanted to learn from a Christ centered institution where I knew I would gain great skills in my area of interest from the faculty while growing in my faith. I am blessed that I have the opportunity to now be in a position to teach the incoming students who are interested in Business & Finance and to assist them in learning in an environment that helps them grow spiritually as well.

I have always found the financial markets and fiscal policy interesting as there is so much variety in this topic. Financial markets are ever changing and fiscal policy is unique to countries needs and culture. What may work for one country may not work for another. This fascination led me to pursue researching economic scarcity and the reason behind why just adding more resources to a struggling country does not solve the issue.
